Information We Collect

We may collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, support requests, and information needed to provide a requested service. When you choose to connect a financial account, we may receive account information through Plaid, including the financial institution name, account name and type, balances, and transaction details such as dates, descriptions, categories, and amounts.

Tixpy does not receive or store the username and password you use to sign in to your financial institution through Plaid.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Provide the products, reports, reconciliation, and transaction-related services you request;
• Operate, maintain, secure, and improve our software;
• Respond to support requests and communicate about our services; and
• Comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud or misuse.

Plaid

We use Plaid Inc. ("Plaid") to connect authorized financial accounts and obtain financial data. By using a Plaid-powered connection, you acknowledge that Plaid will process your information under Plaid's End User Privacy Policy. We request only the data needed to provide the selected Tixpy service.

How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information or financial data. We may share information with service providers, including Plaid and hosting or infrastructure providers, only as needed to operate our services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

Retention and Deletion

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion of your personal information or disconnection of a linked financial account by contacting us. Some information may be retained when required by law.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. You may also revoke a financial account connection through your financial institution, Plaid's tools where available, or by contacting us.

Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update its effective date.
